Host a Student from Incheon, South Korea!

**Special message: 2020 trips cancelled. BSCC and the City of Burbank have decided to cancel both 2020 trips due to continued circumstances of the coronavirus.  Please check back in the fall for an update on the future trips.

Every summer, a dozen or so students from one of our Sister Cities are chosen to visit Burbank and stay with local families, and students from Burbank are selected to spend two weeks visiting one of our Sister Cities.  It’s a wonderful opportunity to learn about a different culture first hand, and to represent our city and our country to people who are always eager to learn about Americans!

Next summer, we will have students and chaperones from our Sister City of Incheon, South Korea visiting our city.  Burbank families are needed to host our guests while they are here.  Please consider taking advantage of this wonderful opportunity and host a student in your home this Summer for one or both weeks. To learn more about hosting, attend a Sister City Committee meeting held the first Monday of every month at 6:30 PM in the auditorium at the Burbank Buena Vista Library.  We would love to have you join us!

Visit the Application page to download the host family application or it can be found at any of the Burbank Public Library branch locations.  For more information on meeting times, etc., call the Library at 818 238-5551.
